Affiliate Program Terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Unified Software Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”) about the Manutius affiliate program. By applying you agree to them. They sit alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Joining
You apply at manutius.app/affiliates. We review applications by hand and may accept or decline anyone. Once accepted you get a referral link, a promotion code and a dashboard. You must be at least 18 and able to receive payments in your own name or your business’s name.
2. Commission
- You earn 40% of every payment a referred customer makes in the first 12 months after their first purchase: the lifetime license, or each monthly or yearly subscription payment in that window.
- Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually paid after discounts, before payment-processing fees. Taxes the customer pays are excluded.
- Orders for printed copies are not commissionable.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is cancelled. If it was already paid to you, we deduct it from your next payout.
3. Attribution
- Visitors who arrive through your link are tagged with a cookie for 60 days. The last link clicked wins.
- Your promotion code credits a sale to you when the customer uses it, unless the customer carries another affiliate’s cookie, in which case the cookie wins.
- One customer, one affiliate. We don’t pay two people for one sale.
4. Payouts
- A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it comes from.
- Payouts go out on the 1st of each month for everything payable, when your balance is at least $20. Smaller balances roll over.
- Payouts are made through Stripe to a Stripe account you open from your dashboard. Stripe collects your identity and bank details and handles tax documents where required; we never see your bank details. Payouts are available where Stripe supports them for us: currently the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland and the European Economic Area.
- Payouts are in US dollars. Your bank or Stripe may convert them.
- You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
5. What you may not do
- Buy Manutius through your own link or code, or for other people.
- Post your code or link on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or anywhere its purpose is to intercept people who were already buying.
- Run search ads on “Manutius” or misspellings of it, or send paid traffic straight to manutius.app.
- Send unsolicited email or messages, or use misleading claims about the app, the price or the discount.
- Present yourself as Manutius or as our employee, or register domains or social accounts that imply it.
- Use cookie stuffing, iframes, redirects or anything else that sets the cookie without a real click.
6. Disclosure
You must tell your audience that you earn a commission, in a way that meets the FTC’s Endorsement Guides and whatever rules apply where you are. “I earn a commission if you buy through this link” near the link is fine.
7. Our materials
You may use the wordmark, screenshots, video and text in the assets kit to promote Manutius, as they are. You may not alter the wordmark or imply that we endorse anything else you sell.
8. Ending
Either of us can end your participation at any time. We may cancel commissions and end your account without payment if you break section 5. If you leave or we end things otherwise, we pay what you have legitimately earned on the next payout date.
9. Changes and law
We may change the commission rate, the attribution window or these terms with 30 days’ notice by email; the change applies to sales after that date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
